A Faithful God

Scripture

He is the Rock, his works are perfect, and all his ways are just. A faithful God who does no wrong, upright and just is he. (Deuteronomy 32:4)

 

Observation

​

Singapore has been in the pandemic for almost two years now. Many of us perhaps wonder why God is not answering or acting. Question is, "do we need to understand that there is greater truth and greater plan in the eyes of God?" Thankfully, unlike fickle humans, God wields perfect justice. Just as God has moved in the course of world history, He allows nations to rise and fall. Given these, do we dare to echo what Moses has said, "His works are perfect and His ways are just" (Deut 32:4)?

 

Application

 

Because we serve a faithful God who does no wrong, and is upright and just, our confidence remains in Him though uncertain of His timing. Our finite mind can never comprehend His plan unless we submit to His Sovereignty.

 

Prayer

 

Forgive me for my short-sightedness in seeing Your plan. Help me to see things with Your lens and yield myself to Your perfect works and ways.
