Disruption of Plans

Scripture

Many are the plans in a man's heart, but it is the Lord's purpose that prevails. (Proverbs 19:21)

Observation

From this verse, the Lord prompted me to reflect on my dependence on Him and myself. I may have plans of when and how things should proceed in my life. However, is it what God planned for me?

Application

Because of Covid-19, much of what I plan and want to do are disrupted and canned. I get frustrated and disappointed that all these good and wonderful things I planned could not materialize and come to fruition. However, I know that God is sovereign, and He knows what is best for me. His plans are always the best although I may not see it in the present. So, is it "I have a plan" or "I want God's plan"?

Prayer

Father God, teach me to know that your plans for me are much better than the plans I have. Teach me that you always make everything beautiful in your time. I surrender myself to you and the perfect plan you have for me. In Jesus' Name I pray, Amen
