Agape Missions Ministry

Cross-cultural mission has always been in the DNA of Agape Methodist Church. Most of our ministries and partnerships are initiated by lay people who believe in the Great Commissions. Although we are a relatively young church, we were instrumental in the church-planting efforts of the Hmong churches in North-East Myanmar and have sent out missionaries to serve in some mission agencies.

Our Missionaries and Partnership

Currently, Agape has three missionaries serving in two mission agencies: a couple in a creative access country and Stacey serving in Interserve. We are still supporting the Hmong ministry in Myanmar even though we are no longer able to visit due to the ongoing civil war. We continue to give to the Bible translation project among the Seagull* people. They will be completing the whole of New Testament in 2026.

We have also begun exploring partnership with a YWAM missionary couple who are serving among the Manobo people of Philippines.
